bluesafe: A wardrobe thinks for itself!
hestomed is reinventing materials management in the emergency services.
The work of emergency services is characterised by stress, hectic and enormous time pressure. At times like these, documentation often takes a back seat. But what if there was a solution that made it possible to record the complete inventory of consumables quickly and easily?
The paramedic stares at the empty compartment in the equipment cupboard and feels her blood pressure rising. The ambulance will soon be heading out to another emergency. But how can she equip the ambulance if she doesn't have enough equipment? A sense of panic spreads through her as she wonders how she can help the patient if she doesn't have the basic tools to hand.
Ready for the future of materials management?
The bluesafe ushers in a new era of materials management. The door of the cabinet opens and you immediately have everything in view. There are no more manual tally lists, no more stocktaking and no more annoying orders.
hestomed works closely with partners Otto ID Solutions and Leanovent IT, who not only offer high-tech solutions but also have extensive process expertise. Karsten Otto from Otto ID Solutions emphasises: "Sometimes the best solution is not to use the most complex technology, but to adapt the processes to ensure smooth rescue operations."
What is RFID technology?
RFID stands for Radio-Frequency Identification and enables contactless data exchange between an RFID tag and an RFID read/write device. The great thing about this is that no direct contact is required - a kind of remote data transmission.
