Outstanding Image Quality
Thanks to a new generation of Ultrasound-on-Chip™ technology, the Butterfly iQ3™ delivers exceptionally high image quality with improved resolution, sensitivity, and penetration depth. The advanced image processing software enables rapid visualization of diagnostically relevant structures and supports users in efficient interpretation. At the same time, doubled processing power ensures significantly faster data processing and image rendering.
Powerful Hardware for Maximum Mobility
The compact ultrasound device weighs only approximately 300 grams and is compatible with both iOS and Android devices. The rugged design meets IP67 protection ratings up to the line on the back of the probe, making the system resistant to water and dust. Battery life is up to two hours of continuous use, while the fast-charging feature enables rapid recharging.
AI-Powered Ultrasound Diagnostics
The Butterfly iQ3™ integrates advanced AI capabilities that support users during examinations and optimize clinical workflows. New tools include features to assist with cardiac output calculation within cardiac presets as well as Doppler-based umbilical artery measurements. The intelligent software helps perform examinations more efficiently and capture relevant measurements more quickly.
One Probe for the Entire Body
Unlike conventional ultrasound systems that require multiple transducers, the Butterfly iQ3™ enables examination of a wide range of anatomical regions with just a single probe. The system supports linear, convex, and phased-array applications, making it suitable for numerous clinical use cases — from emergency and critical care medicine to anesthesiology, general practice, cardiology, and vascular diagnostics.
