Support for Ukraine

In view of the sad and unbelievable news of the last few weeks, we are today reporting on the war in Ukraine. People are being robbed of their belongings, driven from their homes, badly wounded or even killed because of political differences. It is difficult for us to realise and hard to grasp, as we live in a world where we don't have to worry about whether our house will still be standing the next day or whether our loved ones have survived the latest bombing raids.

So what could we do to help the victims of the war, at least a little?

We donated medical consumables with a purchase value of around €3,000 to the Ernst Prost Foundation "Peace for People".

We also donated medical consumables with a purchase value of around €500 to the SDB e.V. from Chemnitz, which supports the relief organisation. from Chemnitz, who brought the relief supplies to the Polish-Ukrainian border as part of a privately organised aid convoy and handed them over to Ukrainian rescue services there.

We also donated a pallet of medical supplies worth approx. 5000,- € purchase value to the DRF Luftrettung, which flew them directly to Kiev in one of its aircraft and handed them over to the rescue service there.

If these donations help to save just one more human life, it was worth every cent.

Stop the war, because Gandhi already said: "There is no way to peace, because peace is the way."
